An off-track door under spring tension shouldn't be forced by hand — 5 Star Garage Door Service's Canton, IL crews carry the tools to realign it safely.
5 Star Garage Door Service trains Canton, IL technicians on this exact service line so you're not the one teaching them on the job.
We'd rather send one truck that's actually equipped for garage door off track repair than three that aren't, even if it means a slightly longer wait on a rare occasion.
Forcing an off-track door back into place without fixing the cause means repeat failure.
We use proper clamps and support tools rather than muscling it by hand.
Bracket re-securing is included when mounting has worked loose.
A partially derailed door is a security gap, especially overnight.
A door jammed halfway off the track gets stabilized and realigned — we assess whether the door, track, or rollers caused it first.
Minor bends from an impact get straightened with proper tools — rather than left to cause repeat derailments.
Severely bent or rusted-through sections get replaced entirely — replaced in sections when possible to control cost.
Worn rollers are a leading cause of derailment — we replace with nylon or steel matched to your door's weight.
Mounting brackets that have worked loose get re-secured — loose brackets under load are a frequent cause of repeat incidents.
